Job Description:

Maintain accurate case records for residents under Medicare and/ or Medicaid HMO coverage. Responsible for obtaining timely authorizations & submitting updates. Comfortable to make and receive high volume calls from insurance companies.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Obtain and maintain authorizations
  • Fax medical records to insurance companies
  • Follow up with insurance companies promptly and timely
  • Write courteous and professional emails to clients
  • Write letters to expedite appeals & authorization discrepancies
  • Track residences admissions & discharges
  • Resolve aging cases

  • Excellent Writing Skills
  • Some College (associate degree)
  • Comfortable to Multi-task
