Business Office Manager

The Willows at Ramapo is looking for a talented and hard-working Business Office Manager to join our ever-growing team.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Financial Interview for the Medicaid application process
  • Having pt/family sign Auth forms to apply and to order all docs related to Medicaid
  • Ordering all docs and follow up with financial institutions proactively to obtain all docs for Medicaid application
  • Filing Medicaid app/Conversions
  • Filing fair hearing and attending if necessary
  • Enrollments in Mandatory MLTC plans
  • Educating family about Income payments and requesting signatures for DD on SSA and all pension
  • Private patients – To discuss with the patient his/her finances upon request from Comprehensive or to collect a check if deemed appropriate that patient manages his own funds
  • HMO disenrollments, MLTC enrollments, Application for Insurance benefits (Medicare A or B) if deemed necessary

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

Previous experience in a Nursing Home or with Medicaid is strongly preferred.

Shift Needs:

  • Full Time 9-5
